To my Dearest [04 Jul 2008|04:02pm] [ mood | nostalgic ] Dear Irene, Today I woke up from a nightmare! I was being attacked by awfully malicious ants. What a riot! Then I began to work on my "summer hw" which is making layouts for Mission 1st AP Art Yearbook! It's a book where AP Art students feature their work from throughout the year! Next it was 12:00 and my sister's on-a-whim "Magic Bullet" Party attendees began to flow into my house. StephR came and SusanShayShay too. We made a variety of things with the magic bullet. We made alferdo that turned out to be green due to an overload of parsey. Taste was ok. Then we made cheese quesadillas and then my favorite: sorbet. First I made strawberry and blackberry sorbet. It was pretty good. Then I made peach and strawberry sorbet. It was pretty smoothie like due to the nonfrozen peaches. Then I made raspberry and blackberry sorbet. It was good except for a tiny detail: too many seeds! It was seeds everywhere! Then I made apple and strawberry sorbet. It tasted like frozen applesauce with strawberries, not the greatest. After another hour or so, I will be making peach sorbet and banana sorbet. How do I make sorbet you ask? Put orange juice and frozen fruits, just blend and voile! sorbet. really it's that simple!
